Horse slaughter

I am strongly for horse slaughter in the US. So strong that now I dont know who I will vote for because every candidate who might possible run for president, house or senate is anti-slaughter. I cried the other night while doing research for my paper on slaughter houses when I found out McCain voted for closing them right along with the terrorist and dumb ass Hillary.

If you go to several horse rescue group's web pages you will find pictures of horses being slaughtered....I thought they would be bad or something. Umm, No they are ridiculous PG.

What the hell are we going to do the market is nearing a halt? Its great for buying but what about resale? Everything pro-slaughter members said would happen has!! The market dropped. Horses are being turned loose or dumped on people. Horses are starving to dead because people can feed them. ETC....................................................I cant talk about it anymore. It makes me angry. The groups claiming to be helping have made it worst than ever.

The best laid plans of mice and men...

This is typically how most things enacted by the government go. They think these things are a good idea because in *theory* they sound nice. They are nice things to do. It's nice to say, let's don't kill horses, but the ramifications of the actions aren't fully thought out (or they are and the powers that be don't care) and then this is what happens. So you know, the senators from Texas- both Kay Bailey Hutchinson and John Cornyn voted to allow slaughter to continue.

And I was reading where this PETA idiot was all "the drop in the equine market can not be directly attributed to the ban on slaughter" and "these incidents of horses being dumped are unfounded and have all be disproved" . . .

I don't know what part of the hood they were fact checking in, but we've had three horses left in our arena since May!

And now that PETA is feeling all good about a victory, and the "no kill legislation" for this noble animal. They are completely unconcerned with the starvation of this noble animal.

Lets see let me for a few mins think like a pro slaughter Idiot.. Ok first I can make alot of Money in America as a foreigner or a american then we can have illegal aliens work the plants they dont have to pay taxes so they will come to work killing horses young and fat horses they dont want old and sick horses though. Then the plants they dont have to obey to osha or city violations as long as we have supporters like the AQHA that makes us overbreeders money and do our lobbying for us. We can have the American Tax payers pay for the Inspectors for these foreign plants. These plants wont even have to pay gross income taxes or export taxes. America will go bankrupt in a few years and by that time we have nearly killed and eaten every dog on horse in the US. Then if we still need horses we can hire these illegal aliens to steal horses the plants pay the illegals and the plants kill more horses. The Plants will support us and the AQHA and APHA will support the plants as lobbist. Lobbist and lawyers will make millions keeping the plants open in the US and all will be happy... Ok now Im sick and tired of being a pro slaughter idiot. Im Anti slaughter and I approve this message....for more facts visit www.SaveDaHorses.org

I think if you intend to make an argument, the first thing you could do would be to put your thoughts into complete sentences so that you can, in fact, be understood.

Do you own a horse? And if so where do you keep it? What does it cost you to feed it?

Hey airspace joke...Stay off my blog.

Im sure in your perfect surban childhood, horses were seen as a magical creature that could transport you to a wonderful place. Well that part may be true, but in the BIG picture(that would be where the rest of us live.) Horses cost alot to keep(I know I have 14 at my house and own more than that) and they must have a job of some sort. I dont care if they earn money as a show horse or are the family pet but they need a purpose, as do you and I.

Have you ever watched a horse being slaughtered? I have its not bad or cruel. It is a fact and way of life. Its not about money and it is. Slaughter horses set the bottom dollar for the horse market. We kill off the bad to raise the value of the good. A horse that would have cost $2000 two years ago now sells for around $700. I sent my all time favorite horse to the slaughter house when I was 16. He sustained a career ending injury and was depressed that he could not be rode and Im sure he was in pain, even if he never showed it. We spent close to $10000 maybe more trying to make him better. I had the choice of putting him down or watching him be slaughtered. The total cost of putting him down your way would have cost me around $600. So I took him to Beltex. I pet and held his head for what seem like along time and told him goodbye and how much he meant to me. I told him thank you for all he had won me and taught me over the years. That there would never be another like him and there hasnt. That he was my best friend and I couldnt watch him suffer anymore. I took his halter off and watched him walk the lane to the door of the slaughter floor. I went inside and watch a couple before him be process. When he came in he looked over and nickered, as to say good bye. They put the gun to his head and he fell to the ground. And the process began. I watched till he didnt look like a horse anymore. I cried the whole time I was saying good bye but not one tear the entire time I watched him being processed. He feed my heart with love and mind with knowledge and in the end his body feed someone. In death he did what he did in live he took care of someone. I have sent other horses to the slaughter house that were bad crazy or crippled but I only watched Copper. I watched him because I loved him most.

And now everyone knows, I havent ever told anyone that.
If we, Americans had a brain we would eat horse meat. They are by far one of the most healthy meats you can eat.

Oh and I didnt see that many Mexicans at the plant. That kinda throws that statement out the window. I do not care if it is all Mexicans doing all the work. That's the way of agiculture, To pay Mexicans to do work white people think they are too good to do. Farmers, Dairymen and ranchers barely get by while all you jackasses and your fat ass, cant stop watching TV kids reap what we sow.

Here in Decatur at the LBJ grassland, there are 10 or more horses dumped a month. 120 a year or more that no one cares about.

Im for horse rescue if the horse is being mistreated but some horses do not need to be here.

AQHA has done more than anyone for the betterment of the American horse.

Your little web site is on my favorites list along with the other anti-christ groups.

Side note: I knew about Hutchinson but not Cornyn. I was being dramatic about all of them. DUH!!
